Frequently asked questions
General
What is Lepinski?
Lepinski is an Estonian contract generator. You choose a type of contract, fill in the details in a form, look at the finished contract in a free watermarked preview and, if it suits you, pay and download the PDF without the watermark.
Is a contract made with Lepinski valid?
A contract is valid if the parties have agreed on it and signed it, and the transaction has no special formal requirements. Lepinski does not offer contracts that under Estonian law must be notarised. Lepinski is not legal advice: you judge whether the document suits your situation.
Who drafts the contracts?
The structure of each type of contract — the required points, clauses and sections — is set in advance in its template. Artificial intelligence fills that structure in with the details you enter. No template goes on sale before it has been reviewed.
Why can't I create a real estate sale agreement or a marital property agreement?
In Estonia these transactions must be notarised. A simple written contract would not be valid, so we don't create them. On the pages of these contract types we explain what is worth knowing before you go to a notary.
Price and payment
How much does a contract cost?
One contract costs €3.99. Your first contract is free if you haven't bought one before. If you need contracts often, the Pro subscription is €14.90 a month, with unlimited contracts and filling in your own templates. New subscribers can try Pro free for 30 days.
Can I see the contract before paying?
Yes. The watermarked preview shows the whole text of the contract, not just the first paragraph. You pay only when the contract suits you.
How does payment work?
Payment is made in Stripe's secure payment window.
How do I cancel the Pro subscription?
Open subscription management on the pricing page and cancel the subscription. It stays active until the end of the paid period and no new payment is taken. If you cancel during the 30-day trial, you are not charged.
Creating a contract
In what form do I get the contract?
As a PDF file in English, without a watermark, whose design you can choose before downloading. The file is ready to be signed.
Can the other party fill in their own details?
Yes. You can send the other party a link by e-mail, through which they fill in their own details. The link is valid for 30 days. You can see the status of shared contracts on the “Shared” page.
What is a saved reusable contract?
If you use the same contract often, for example with every new client or tenant, you can save it and send it to different people to fill in. You choose how long each link is valid: 3, 7, 14 or 30 days, and a link can be revoked before it expires.
Can I save my details for next time?
Yes. You can save your own details and those of the other parties to your account, so that they fill in the next contract in one click. Contracts already created don't change if you later edit the saved details.
Can I fill in my own contract template?
Yes. Under “Fill in your own template” you upload your own document, Lepinski finds the fields to fill in, and you can fill them in. Trying it is free; downloading the filled-in contract requires a Pro subscription.
Signing and checking
How do I sign the contract?
Download the PDF and sign it with an ID card, Mobiil-ID or Smart-ID in the official DigiDoc software, or print it and sign it on paper. Digital signing inside Lepinski is built but not yet open to users.
What is the contract check?
You upload an existing contract, and artificial intelligence reads it through and points out the places worth looking at before you sign. The check is free for signed-in users. It does not replace a lawyer's assessment.
Data and account
Where is my data kept?
The database, accounts and files are in the European Union, in Frankfurt. The contract text is drafted and checked by OpenAI's service, whose servers are in the USA.
Are my contracts used to train artificial intelligence?
No. OpenAI does not use data sent through its API to train its models, and we don't share contracts with anyone else.
How do I delete my account?
Write to tugi@lepinski.ee from the e-mail address the account was created with. Deleting the account also deletes saved profiles, uploaded templates and contract drafts. By law we must keep the accounting records of purchases for seven years.
